He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cady and Velma Rose Cady; his son Richard Dwayne Cady; his grandson William D. Cady; and his siblings, Gene, Roger Cady, Clyde "Jack" Malmgren, Nelson "Bud" Malmgren and Verona Arlene Cady.
He is survived by: his son Danny Cady (Brenda) of Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Debra Cline (Steven) of Oklahoma, Mary Jo Gray (Julie) of Oklahoma and Ronnie Gray of Oklahoma; his brother Raymond Cady of Hamilton; and his close friend Dixie Saltzgaver of Montrose. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
