We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2024, at the age of 67, Mittie Turner of Keokuk, Iowa, born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Tobias Ward; her grandparents, Charlie Frank, Rose Hill and Carrie D. Byrdsong; her stepsister Jacqueline Arthur; her aunt Marilyn Byrdsong; and her brother Anthony Bryant (Chubby).
She is survived by: her mother Pearl Taylor (Bryant); her husband Willie Sim Turner; her siblings, Roger Bryant of Dayton and Sharron Seay (Tyrone) of Keokuk, IA; her children, Kenneth Greenwade Jr. of Keokuk, IA., LaToyia Greenwade, Gwendolyn Greenwade of Keokuk and Shanice Warren (Bell) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.; and her stepchildren, Rafer Turner, Karen Turner, Deloris Mitchell (Turner), Sylvia Turner of Buffalo, NY and Joyce Wright (Turner) of Richardson, TX.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
