Michael R. Hornung Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Hornung of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hornung and Betty June Hornung (Thorton); and his sister Lucretia "Lutie" Bender. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Bender; his nephew Kevin Bender (Brooke); and his great-nieces, Bailey and Hallie Bender.
