He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Land and Veda Fickel Land; his former wife Mary Kay; his children, Debbie Land, Janice Van Ginkle and Chuck Land; and his siblings, Thomas Land, Charles Land, Edward Land, Robert Land and Deanie Miller.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Land of Lafayette, LA and Steve Land (Denise) of Keokuk; and his stepsons, David Heiser (Connie) of Pulaski, IA and Fred Heiser of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Elks Lodge.
