She was predeceased by: her father Ned Otis; and her grandmother Verna Smith. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Lynn Smith Rhea; her siblings, Tory Rhea (Chas McClain), Joel Rhea (Raquel Garcia Rhea) and Holly Claire Rhea (Michael Walton); her son Ethan Rhea (Sara Nuno); her stepson Joey Root; and her nieces and nephews, Beau Paris, Alex Alger (Zach Alger), McKenzie Paris (Kaitlyn Maulding), Tori Rhea, Kirsten McClain, Tatyana Garcia Rhea and Yazmin Garcia Rhea.
