He is survived by: his sons, Scott Smeltser (Stefanie) of Denver and Samuel Smeltser of Keokuk; his siblings, Mike Smeltser of Wayland, Donna Jones (Doug) of Wayland and DeAnne "Dee Dee" Dupy (Don) of West Point; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Jonathan, Sophia, Zoey and Penelope. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
