She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin S. Basye and Lenna G. Basye; her siblings, Gardner Basye, Edward J. Basye and Marjorie Hurd; her son Jeoffrey; and her stepgrandson Clayton Daugherty.
She is survived by: her husband Jack H. Meister; her children, Larry Meister (Nancy) of Evergreen, CO, John Meister (Christie) of Newport, OR, Minda VanAusdall (John) of Keokuk and Mary Thomas (Rob Seltzer) of Keokuk; her grandchildren, Brian Meister (Jamie) of Melbourne, FL, Josh Meister (Sherry) of Nayarit, Lindsey Meister of Taneytown, Chase Meister (Brianna) of Lebanon, OR, Daniel Svejda (Jeannie) of Keokuk and Mark Meister (Tracy) of Siletz, OR; and her stepgrandson Brandon VanAusdall of O'Fallon, MO. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
