She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Hornung and Betty Thornton Hornung. She is survived by: her husband Bob Bender; her children, Kevin Bender (Brooke) of Hamilton, IL and Dana; her brother Mike Hornung of Keokuk; her grandchildren, Bailey and Hallie Mae Bender; her nieces, Lori Longnecker and Donna LaBonte; and her nephew Jackson Bender.
Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Lee County Hospice in honor of Lutie.
