It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth James Kersten of Keokuk, Iowa, born in Persia, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth S. Kersten and Ada Marie McCurly Kersten. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hornbeck of Keokuk; his sons, Scott Kersten (Lori) of Wichita, KS, Todd Kersten (Amy) of Davenport, IA and Kelly Kersten (Angela) of Davenport, IA; his grandchildren, Courtney Todd (Josh), Jesse Kersten (Lauren), Josh Kersten, Jake Kersten, Sarah Kersten, Ally Kersten, Michael Kersten and Sean Kersten; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Briggs Kersten.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be in effect.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or to the Keokuk High School Track and Field Program.
