He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Rose and Evelyn Long Rose; his siblings, Paul, Philip, Albert, Dave Rose and Ester "Toby" Glasgow; and his siblings-in-law, Bud, Dick Tiemann, Charlotte Betts, Shirley Glover Carrie Cloud, Dorcas "Duke" Rose and Beverly "Tootie" Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Tiemann of Keokuk; his sons, James Rose (Danelle "Danny") and Daniel Rose (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jacy Martin (Corey), Jamie Bernhardt (Tim) and Amanda Rose of North Liberty, IA; his great grandchildren, Dyrien Bolen of Keokuk, Connor of Keokuk, Madelyn Bernhardt of Keokuk, Maggie of Keokuk, Jaycie Martin of Keokuk and Hayden; his brothers, Robert Rose of Keokuk and John Rose (Carol) of Keokuk; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Tiemann (Sue) of Kerrville, TX, Tom Tiemann (Mary Jane) of Lufkin, TX, Duane Cloud of Jacksonville, FL, Theresa Cameron (Buck) of Hamilton, IL, Virginia Rose of Keokuk, Viola Rose and Rosie Rose of California. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
