He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayes A. Leisenring and Vera Kathryn Leisenring (Jones); his son John Jr.; and his brother James "Jimmy". He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa and Leann; his stepdaughters, Lori and Linda; his grandchildren, Bailey, Abby, Gabby, Emma, Trinity, Serena, Zayden, Drayden and Michael; and his siblings, Hayes and Julie.
