James Richard Porter Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Porter Sr. of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Porter and Gladys Fox Porter; and his wife Doris Scott. He is survived by: his children, Scott Porter (Julie) of Keokuk, James R. Porter, Jr. (Natalie) of Keokuk, Jean Brown (Steve) of Nauvoo, IL and Janet Kinman (Dee) of Springville, IN; and his grandchildren, Sally Carter (Brian), Amy Newberry (T. J.), Tim Porter (Robin), Nolan Porter, Annie Holmes (Tim), Kevin Crabtree, Jessica Fatt (Austin) and Cal Kinman. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Every Step Hospice.
