He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Toole and Mary M. Shea Toole; his grandparents, Henry and Florence Shea; his parents-in-law, Jean and Bill Goetz; his uncle Jim; his aunt Dorothy Shea; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Brown, Bill Goetz, Greg Kraus, Jeff Hanan and Marilyn Goetz.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Ann Goetz; his sisters, Ruth Ann Brown of St. Petersburg, FL and Mary Ellen "Meme" Schrag (Dwight) of Bellevue, WA; his siblings-in-law, Alan Goetz of Indian Rock, FL, Mary Jo Smith (Jack) of Keokuk, Sarah Kraus of Keokuk, Julie Goetz-Ross (Bruce) of Rochester, MN, Peggy Frey (Scott) of Keokuk and Susan Hanan of Keokuk; and his cousin Sis Rockhold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Keokuk Catholic Schools or to the donor's choice.
