He was predeceased by: his parents, William Briscoe and Lucille Briscoe (Hoewing); his siblings, William "Bill" Briscoe, John Briscoe and Betty Adams; his brother-in-law Lee Squires; his granddaughter Jennifer Shaneyfelt; his nephews, Jamey Briscoe and Tyler Price; and his fathers-in-law, Owen (Mary Squires) and Herschel Seaton.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Lou Squires; his daughters, Kelli Rose (Steve) of Keokuk and Melissa Shaneyfelt (Phillip) of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, Tiffany Lange (Scott), Mathew Ritter (Lexie), Brittany Wiseman (Coleman), Whittany Flambeau (JP), Bryce Rose (Jenna), Katie Shaneyfelt and Kaylie Shaneyfelt; his great grandchildren, Carver, Nolan, Lauren Lange, Alten Lowman, Harry Huffman, Wiseman, Austin Follmuth, Khi, Calum Flambeau, Sam and Jack Rose; his half-siblings, Lora Comstock (Randy) of Alta Loma, California, Tim Briscoe (Vicki) of Keokuk and David Maddox (Karen) of Fort Madison; his sisters-in-law, Robin Briscoe of Keokuk and Teresa Price (Stephen) of Blue Springs, Missouri; his close friends, Gene Weber, Byron Klapprott, Bob Dunlap and Jim Vandenberg; and his pets, Herkey and Minnie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
