He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C Lawler and Edith Lawler (Sutton); his wife Lois Hansen; his sister Mary Wisslead; and his son Frank C Lawler.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Lawler (Michele Burnett) of Fort Madison, Daniel Lawler (Chris Williamson) of Fort Madison and Dr Jennifer Lawler of Argyle, Iowa; his daughter-in-law Janet Lawler of Fort Madison; his sister-in-law Rose "Sudie" Henderson of Montrose, Iowa; his grandchildren, Michael Lawler, Meagan Juarez, Misty Wert, Amber McVeigh, Ashley Walton and Zach Ireland (Kathleen); and his great grandchildren, Stanlee Juarez, Cole Lawler, Sterling Juarez, Declan Ireland and Olive Hantzeas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
