It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfriede Anna Harmon of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johan Paar and Emilie Paar (Filipp); her husband Roy James Harmon; her parents-in-law, James Fredrick and Wilma Alberta Harmon (Fowler); her siblings, Hermie Meek (Hans) and Hansel Paar; and her brothers-in-law, Leslie Harmon and Walter Harmon.
She is survived by: her children, James Roy Harmon (Theresia) of Keokuk and Gina Maria Harmon of Keokuk; her grandchildren, Amy Kelly of Keokuk, Cheri Kelly (Nathan) of Keokuk and Andrew Harmon (Amber) of Keokuk; her great grandchildren, Josh Ackley, Phoenix Harmon, Ashton Harmon, Ethan Kelly, Addison Kelly, Noah Kelly, Andreas Harmon, Gabriella Kelly, Haydrian Harmon and James Harmon; her great great grandchild Brighton Ackley; her sisters, Inge Mohler (Korre) of Germany, Traudl Paar of Germany and Ursula Kretschmann (Paar) of Germany; her siblings-in-law, Dale Harmon (Betsy) of Palm Coast, FL, Gloria Harmon of Keokuk, Rose Harmon of Elburn, IL and Peggy Harmon of Alexandria; her great grandchild Brooklyn Ackley; her granddaughters-in-law, Amber Harmon, Janet Symonds, Jeriann Morgan and Barb Baird; and her daughter-in-law Theresia Harmon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
