With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine H. Varner of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine H. Varner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Suhr and Helen Suhr (Emde); her husband Russell Varner; her siblings, Charlotte Steinke, Mildred Kinnan, Lorraine Jones and Marvin Suhr; and her granddaughter Rebecca Varner.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Varner (Deb), Dave Varner (Brenda) of Keokuk, Don Varner (Adriana) of Andover, MN, Tom Varner of O'Fallon, MO and Carol Glasford (Gary) of Norwalk, IA; her grandchildren, Kris, Michelle, Julie, Elizabeth, Tim, Nathan, Mike, Melissa and Michael; and her brother Norman Suhr of Peninsula, OH.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to All Saints Catholic Church or the Keokuk Catholic Schools.
