She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl E. Randall and Frances Randall (Harrison); her husband Elwin Walte; her daughter Katrina Gates; her sister Karen Boecker; and her brother-in-law Dean Bode.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Gates (Linda), Steve Gates of Keokuk, Kim Schilson (Tim) of Basco, Tonya Mulkey (Jon) of Florida, Margaret Walte of Lomax and Patricia Jaeger of New York; her siblings, Robert Randall (Claudia) of Rapid City and Janet Bode of Keokuk; her brother-in-law Donald Boecker of Keokuk; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Richard Gates, Matthew Gates, Danielle Finin (Matthew), Christina Bousselot (Mark), Lindsey Gooding (Scott), Tyler Schilson, Blake, Corynn Mulkey and Austin Korschgen. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and foster children.
