He was predeceased by: his parents, Manford Carl and Callie Lewis (Orton); his sister Beverly "Tootie" Rose; and his stepsons, Michael Ette and Robert Ette.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Rose (Daniel) of Keokuk and Donald Lewis, Jr. (Amanda) of Keokuk; his stepdaughter Tammy Rudd of Donnellson; his grandchildren, Amanda Meek of North Liberty, IA, Devin Lewis of Keokuk, Drew Lewis (Mikelle) of Keokuk and Tabitha Rudd (Paul Johnson) of Keokuk; and his sister Marilyln "Puggy" Zweifel of Memphis, MO.. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jackson Township Fire Department.
