He is survived by: his wife Frankie Gilpin of Keokuk, IA; his daughters, Susie McFarland (Cliff) of Carroll, IA and Denise Hughes (Keith) of Knoxville, IA; his sisters, Barb Coovert and Mary Symmonds; his grandchildren, Jason McFarland (Amanda), Nicole Jones, Linsey McFarland (Shawn), Matthew Jones (Alisha) and Amber Highes; and his great grandchildren, Katelyn McFarland, Leah McFarland, Amie Pottebaum, Matthew Pottebaum, Hayden Jones, Hayley Spruell, Ryley Spruell, Roman Jones, Adalyn Scott and Brantley Scott.
