It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Wheatley of Keokuk, Iowa, born in Dallas City, Illinois, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wheatley and Henrietta Clark Wheatley; his wife Rhonda Wheatley; and his brothers, Herbert Wheatley and Ed Wheatley.
He is survived by: his pet Mabel; his children, Justin Wheatley (Amy) of Hiawatha, IA, Shane Wheatley (Lyndsey Levetzow) of Milan, IL, Tyler Wheatley of Des Moines, IA and Michelle Hughes (Lee) of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchildren, Leighton Wheatley, Trenton Wheatley, Alexis Wheatley, Chloe Wheatley, Aaron Wheatley and Maximus Wheatley; and his niece Traci Wheatley. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren and his four legged companion.
