She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scott and Millie Scott (Elting); and her sister Cindi Melvin. She is survived by: her children, Scott Bentzinger (Amanda) of Carthage, Steve Bentzinger of Carthage and Jonni McCloskey of Carthage; her grandchildren, Ashland Anderson (Tucker), Ian Bentzinger (Millie Larson), Kelsey Printy (William), Sydney Grotts, Alex Bentzinger (Kathleen Campos-Patlan), Kaylee McCloskey and Aiden Etchill; her great grandchildren, Ava, Alensi Anderson, Addy, Olivia and Gracelyn Printy; and her nieces, Missy Cook (Tom), Dawn Enzeroth and Courtney Lang (Adam).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Printy Funeral Home (405 Cherry St, Carthage, IL 62321).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Bonnie Bentzinger for her grandchildren's college funds, H.U.G.S. or the Legacy Theatre in Carthage.
