With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Tompkins of Keokuk, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Tompkins and Marjorie Runyan Tompkins; her foster parents, Ed Gerner and Evelyn Gerner; her daughter Patricia Tompkins (Patty Mike); and her brother Jerry Tompkins (JR).
She is survived by: her siblings, Lilly Harris (William) of Keokuk, DeWayne Tompkins (Brenda) of Johnson City, TN and Roger Tompkins (Debbie) of Cedar Falls, IA; and her granddaughter Haile Frost of Gilbertville, IA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
