She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Gilpin and Lola Morrisey Gilpin; her husband Clarence "June" Junior Coovert; and her brothers, Jack Gilpin, Donald Gilpin and Warren "Ike" Johnston.
She is survived by: her sons, David Coovert (Kathy) of Keokuk and Daniel Coovert (Joan) of Manhattan, KS; her grandchildren, Eric Coovert and Megan Hogan (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Owen, Kylee, Zayleigh, Ruairi, Nathan, Rachel and Scarlett; and her sister Mary Symmonds of Keokuk.
