He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Vaughan and Gladys Howard Vaughan; his wife Debbie; his son Joe Vaughan; and his half-siblings, Patty West and Max Hopkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Vaughan (Rachel) of Quincy, IL and Robert Vaughan (Becky Bloyd) of Ft. Madison, IA; his half-siblings, Jim Hopkins (Judy) of Keokuk and Barbara Weber of Keokuk; and his close friend Shirley Bloyd. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
