He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert, Sr. O'Bleness and Helen O'Bleness (Ketterer); his wife Alice Jayne Garner of Mary's Catholic Church; his sisters, Mary and Margaret; and his daughter Debbie Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Denise O'Bleness (Scott Verhagen) of New York City and Michael O'Bleness (Janet) of Keokuk; his son-in-law Dave Carroll; his grandchildren, Brian Carroll (Leah) of Keokuk, Christopher Carroll of Keokuk, Dr. Jessica O'Bleness (Drew Fischels) of Iowa City and Dr. Andrew O'Bleness (Kelsey) of Waukee, Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Aubree, Ascher, Kyler, Isaiah, Ellia and Callum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to All Saints Catholic Church or the Arthritis Foundation.
