He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Gordon and Marie Gordon (Tietz); and his father-in-law Alvin. He is survived by: his wife Karen Flatness; his sons, David Gordon of Waconia, MN, Dan Gordon (Char) and Brian Gordon (Sarah); his grandchildren, Madeline "Maddy", Martha, Melanie, Wallace "Wally" Gordon, Codie, Connor, Carlie Gordon, Carson and Trevor Gordon; his siblings, Gail Gordon (Sharon) of Kensett, Marion Helgeson and Joyce Diedrich; and his sister-in-law Betty Hilstrom (Pete). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In honor of Donald, the family suggests memorials be directed to MercyOne Hospice of North Iowa or Bethany Lutheran Church in Kensett.
