He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shuler and Elizabeth Shuler (Fredericks); his wife Alice "Tootie" Shuler; his son Michael Shuler; and his siblings, Harold Shuler, Kathy Shipley, Betty Stalzer, Gloria Westcott and Ronda Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Beals (Doug) of Marshalltown and Mark Shuler of Kellogg; his grandchildren, Dan Beals (Allie), Hailee Beals and Mason Shuler; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Gabby and Sylvia Beals; and his siblings, Darlene Galloway, Ronald Shuler, Roger Shuler and Helen Hand.
