She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph and Trena Abels (Ohden); her brothers, Dirk (Esther), Eugene (Dorothy), Earnest (Doris) and Ralph Jr.; and her brother-in-law Richard Berleen.

She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Berleen (Abels). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be made to the Wright Christian Reformed Church, 1730 East 130rd Street, Kanawha, Iowa 50447.
