He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Swartz and Verna Swartz (Duffy); and his brother Miles Swartz, Jr.. He is survived by: his former wife Catherine A. Bartle; his daughter Kim Tolsdorf (Brad) of Riverside; his grandchildren, Jacob Young (Whitney), Danielle Young, Gabriel Young (Nathan) and Brady Tolsdorf; his daughter Karen Thomas (Ben) of Clear Lake; his grandchildren, Ryan Thomas and Rylee Thomas; his daughter Kerri Poley (Kenny Rossing) of Renwick; his grandchildren, Nichole Poley (Alex), Dezerae Fish (Isaac) and Chance Poley (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Willow, Jett, Lyla, Axel and Minerva; and his sister Rennelle Mosher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
