We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2023, at the age of 65, William Denzel Tompkins (Kalona, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Tompkins and Helen "Fran" Tompkins (Sheimo); his stepson Adam Jones; his niece Sara Jayne Tompkins; his nephew Richard Norton Tompkins III; and also Rhett Jay Dreyer.
He is survived by: his wife Cathie Sue Stutsman; his daughters, Grace Parlette (Matthew) of Phoenix, AZ, Emily Bothell (Matthew) of West Liberty, IA, Audrey McKasy (Brendan) of Seattle, WA, Anne Stork (Peter McCarthy) of Iowa City, IA, Jayne Berglund (Chad Barker) of Tacoma, WA and Sara Widdes (Seth) of Phoenix, AZ.; his grandchildren, Cameron, Casey Parlette, Maddox, Lincoln McKasy, Oliver Stork, Jack Barker and Rosemary Widdes; his brothers, Richard Tompkins (Cynthia) of Mason City, IA, Ronald Tompkins (Coleen) of Phoenix, AZ and Donald Tompkins (Jill) of Iowa City, IA; and his former wives, Brenda (Bauer), Wheat and Patricia (Kayser). He is also survived by 10 nephews, 2 nieces.
