He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cortum and Oriet Cortum (Tesdahl). He is survived by: his former wife Colette Yoder; his sons, Kevin Cortum of Kalona, Sean Cortum (Shannyn) and Ryan Cortum (Payton); his brother John Cortum (Rita) of Mediapolis; his nephews, BJ and Bobby Cortum; and his niece Catherine Delzell.
