She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence White and Lucille White (Gregory); her husband Milt; her daughter-in-law Kimbra Valenti; and her sisters, Connie White, Elizabeth Serrioz and Jeannie Hellerud.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Schmida of Washington, Jane Augspurger (Kip), Milton Schmida (Jackie) of La Crosse, WI, Molly Lugar (Steve) of Kalona, Patrick Schmida (Michel) of Altoona and Heather Gudenkauf (Scott) of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings, Michael White (Elaine) of Brookings, SD, Mary Joann Poppinga (Russell) of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan Campbell of Sioux Falls, SD, Anthony White of Brookings, SD and Kathy Assay of Sioux Falls, SD.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County and St. Joseph's Church in Wellman.
