She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Conrad and Charlotte Bohr (Vandement); her husband George Allen; and her siblings, Mildred Wornson, Marvin "Bud" Bohr, Dorvin "Kelly" Bohr, Ellen Reber, Vivian Fleming, Lydia Brown, Lorene Meinke, Joseph Bohr and Dolorosa Wagamon.
She is survived by: her son Scott Allen (Denise) of Kalona; and her grandchildren, Tinisha Hughes (Juwan) of Des Moines, Christian Allen of Des Moines, Joshua Allen of Des Moines and Julia Allen (Gertie Chupp) of Kalona. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
