It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Aaron Gunderson of Kalona, Iowa, born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather-in-law Evelyn Pechota. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Gunderson and Candy Gunderson (Reddy); his wife Jenny Bohr; his son Grahm of Kalona; his aunts, Diane "Nan" Gibson of Arizona and Diane Schulz (Eric) of Dubuque; his parents-in-law, Jim and Jeannie Bohr of Protivin, IA; his sisters-in-law, Jackie Bohr (Mike Plewacki) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jodee Beck (Brent) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his niece Carley Beck of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his nephew Riley Beck of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by cousins and very close friends.
A memorial fund has been established in Michael's name to benefit his son, Grahm.
