He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Escher and Marie Escher (Greaser); and his sisters, Phyllis Escher, Beulah Embree and Mary Louise Escher.
He is survived by: his grandson Brody; his wife Karen Escher of Kalona, IA; his sons, Michael Escher (Christy) of Kalona, IA and David Escher of Marshalltown, IA; his grandchildren, Chaylea Kay, Jordan Kay, Logan Escher, Jarrett Escher and Jacey Escher; and his brothers, Warren Escher (Catherine) of Washington, IA and Roger Escher (Mary Jo) of Washington, IA.
