She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Schwimley and Nora Schwimley (Williams); her husband Glenn H. Miller; her daughter Jane O'Brien; her granddaughters, Sara O'Brien Sherman and Betsy Kennel Williams; and her brother Gerald Schwimley (Jeanne).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kennel (Russ) of Rock Island, IL, Mary Jo Banwart (Jon) of Ames, IA and Kim Keilin of Aspen, CO; her son-in-law Ed O'Brien of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Jack, Alex O'Brien, Andrew Kennel, Miles Keilin and Lauren Banwart; and her great grandchildren, Mack, Grant Williams, Harper, Cal, Lily, Audrey and Katie O'Brien.
