She was predeceased by: her parents, Paris L Miller and Lydia Miller (Briskey); her siblings, Henry (Ella), Robert, Milton, Owen, Charles "Chip" Miller and Anna Peiffer; and her brother-in-law John D. Hershberger.
She is survived by: her husband Derald Bender of Kalona; her children, Mike Bender (Brenda) of Kalona, Vicki Strasser (Brian) of Homestead, Keith Miller (Cheryl) of Goshen, IN, Kevin Miller (Linda) of Center Point, Kathy Richardson (Richard) of Colorado Springs, CO, Karla Graber (Brent) of North English and Kim Cox (Bob) of Williamsburg; her grandchildren, Cassidy Bender (Ben Bermel), Abe Bender, Luke, Will Strasser, Justin, Troy, Shannon, Stephen, Kristen, Hannah, Kyle, Trent, Kendra, Pat, Amanda, Molly, McKenna, Reece, Braidon, Tanner and Riley; her sisters, Alma Hershberger of Kalona and Sally Hershberger (John) of Kalona; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby Miller of Kalona and Karen Miller of Iowa City. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Kalona Mennonite Church and the Kalona First Responders.
