It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Merck (Kalona, Iowa), born in Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parent Eugene Merck; his wife Donna of Kalona; his children, Jeannie Zulauf (Christian) of Ottumwa, Michelle Merck of Des Moines and Ryan Merck (Kate) of Wellman; his grandson Trevin; his mother Ellen Merck of Grinnell; his siblings, Becky Schlesselman of Grinnell, Jo Wiley (Steve) of New Sharon and Dwaine Gooding of Burlington; and his siblings-in-law, Marlin Yoder (Judy) of McLeansville, NC, Harlan Yoder (Mary) of North Liberty, Deanna Poe (Carl) of Kalona and David Schlesselman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
