It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie David Hostetler (Kalona, Iowa), who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin J. Hostetler and Ida Hostetler (Miller); his wife Emma Helmuth; his sister Ruth Ann Hostetler; his grandchildren, Denise Miller and Blake Miller; and his siblings, Joseph Hostetler, Edwin Hostetler and Mary Kathryn Brenneman.
He is survived by: his children, Kalona Auto, Carolyn Miller (Perry) of Kalona, Dale Hostetler (Faith) of Johns Island, Donald Hostetler of Warsaw, Judy Balbinot (Brent) of Holland, Larion Hostetler (Ruby) of Linville and Phylis Hostetler (Marcus) of Charleston; and his sister Emma Jean Miller of Kalona. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home or Hospice of Johnson County.
