Leona Marie Schlabach Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2024, at the age of 96, Leona Marie Schlabach (Kalona, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah D. Schlabach and Bertha Schlabach (Miller); her siblings, Barbara Schlabach, John and Raymond Schlabach; and her nephew Royce Schlabach.
She is survived by: her siblings, Perry Schlabach (Virginia) of Jefferson, OR and Susie Yoder of Kalona; her sister-in-law Velma Schlabach of Dallas, TX; her friend Kathy Galer of McMinnville, OR; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Tones of Iowa City, IA, Lou Ann Miller of Kalona, Kathy Schlabach of Iowa City, IA, Larry Schlabach of Albany, OR, Roger Schlabach and Leon Schlabach of Jefferson, OR. She is also survived by two Great-nieces and 5 Great-nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for Gospel Echo's Prison Ministry, Sunnyside Mennonite Church or Pleasantview Home.
