He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon A. Miller and Clara Miller (Coblentz); and his sister Alta Marie Miller. He is survived by: his wife Leora C. Miller; his children, Luke Adam Miller of Ottumwa, Lee Sanford Miller of San Antonio, TX, Vern Dale Miller Jr. (Amy) of Washington, Lonnie Phillip Miller of Story City and Lisa Elaine Helmuth (Loren) of Kalona; and his sister Anna Fern King (John) of Kalona. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
