She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gerdts and Lota Gerdts (Hathaway); her daughter Deanna Collins; her grandson Dalton; and her siblings, Jim Gerdts and Elaine Pagel.
She is survived by: her husband Dwight Passmore of Marion; her children, Steven Passmore (Vickie) of Kalona, Mark Passmore of Sturbridge, Annette Bartachek (Jerry) of Marion, Angela Passmore of Marion and Nathan Passmore of Spokane; her sister Terri Hansen (David) of Muscatine; and also Donnie Collins of Duffield, Virginia. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
