He is survived by: his wife Fannie Mae Borkholder; his close friend Fannie Mae; his children, Lillian Gingerich (Fred) of Irvington, KY, Loretta Miller (Elson) of Kalona, John David of Keota, James (Lorena) of Kalona and Luke (Karen) of Bellefontaine, OH; and his brothers, Henry (Mary) of Kalona and Amos (Mattie) of Sugarcreek, OH. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren.
