He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hudson and Eva Hudson (Cole); and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Fern Wixson of Kalona; his daughters, Debbie Seward (Michael) of Jerome and Dawne Hudson of Kalona; his grandchildren, Jenni Hershberger (Blake), Summer Sargent (Matt), Tony Kiefer (Brittni), Sharelle Seward (Alfred Orelus), Nicki Lenz (Seth), Shannon Seward (Morgan) and Shawne Seward; and his brother Ronald Hudson (Judy) of Ft. Meyers, Florida.. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home (201 B Ave, Kalona, IA 52247). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home.
