We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2023, at the age of 98, Jacob Kauffman (Kalona, Iowa), born in Arcola, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J Kauffman and Mary Ann Kauffman (Stutzman); his spouse Jean Christner; his children, Jeff, Jim, Jerry Kauffman and Jan Miller; and his daughter-in-law Mary Kauffman.

He is survived by: his children, Joyce Baron (Rick) of Sahuarita, AZ, John Kauffman of Wellman, IA, Julia Kauffman-Jantzi (Phil) of Strasburg, PA, Joannie Firkins (Jeff) of Iowa City and Jorge Kauffman (Jenny) of Lancaster, CA.; and his siblings, Clara Gingerich of Iowa City, Martha Stutzman, Katie Ann Miller, Esther Borntrager, Levi, Joe and Harvey Kauffman. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
