Harold Glen Wagler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Glen Wagler of Kalona, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wagler and Josephine Wagler (Isch); his former wife Lorna Mae Jones; his wife Mildred "Eileen" Waller; his daughter Teresa Kay; his siblings, Willis, Delmer, Allen Wagler and Vada Reimer; and his stepdaughter Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Wagler of St. Louis, Cary Wagler of Kalona, Candi Schmieder (Doug) of Kalona and Shelley Hootman (Jeff) of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Shaun Wagler, Brooke Hodge (Scott), Justin Wagler (Melissa), Jennifer Young (Evan), Riley, Jacob, Mitchell Schmieder, Trevor Port (Alysa), Derrick and Anna Miller; his brother Edwin Wagler (Joyce) of Wayland; and also, Kay Witthoft, Scot Heisdorffer (Cindy), Mark Heisdorffer (Candace) and Pat Richards (Jeff). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home and Iowa City Hospice.
