It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Esther Viola Zook of Kalona, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 91, on April 16, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ananias J. Beachy and Ella Mae Beachy (Shetler); her husband Henry Ray Zook; and her siblings, Mary, Fannie, Ray, John, Glen, Earl, Jonas, Jesse and Joe.

She is survived by: her children, Ella Walker (Mike) of Kalona, Larry Zook (Jewel) of Kalona, Joyce Martin (Jerold) of Wagener, SC, Alan Zook (Jean) of West Chester, IA, Jason Zook (Louise) of Marengo, IA and Leon Zook (Emma) of Villisca, IA; and her son-in-law Gareth Gingerich. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
