He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon C. Ropp and Vesta Ropp (Yoder); and his siblings, Herman Ropp (Gladys), John Ropp (Violet), Leroy Ropp (Edith), Wesley Ropp, Cleora Yoder (Sherman), Anna Mae Miller and Norma Nisly.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Kauffman; his children, James Ropp of Evans, Jacquelyn Bischmann (Larry), Jenna Pittlekow (Nick), Jamie Oltman (Justin) and Juanita Troyer (Gordon) of Kalona; his grandchildren, Andrea Troyer, Patrick Troyer and Christopher Troyer (Jody); his daughter Vivian Martin (Fred) of Washington; his grandchildren, Scott Marner (Alicia), Teri Ziegler (John) and Jeff Marner (Jenni); his child Kim Lehman (Kent) of Kalona; his grandchildren, Jacob Lehman (Katie), Michelle Lehman, Emily Bixler (Isaac), Karlee, Katelyn, Rachel, Grace and Faith Lehman; his siblings, Cora Miller (Levi) of Springfield, OH, Morris Ropp (Norma) of Bemidji, MN and Paul Ropp (Marlene) of Sarasota, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Miller of Sarasota, FL, Harley Nisly of Kalona and Anna Ropp of Harrisonburg, VA.. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
