He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Gingerich and Emma Gingerich (Mast); his mother-in-law Mary Edna Hershberger (Yoder); and his nephews, LaWayne Lloyd Ropp, Sanford Emery Yoder and Samuel Elijah Borntrager.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gingerich (Hershberger); his father-in-law Isaac Hershberger of Riverside; and his siblings, Ellen Miller (Charles) of Kalona, Evan Gingerich (Ethel) of Kalona and Elysa Hershberger (Perry) of Kalona. He is also survived by 5 children.
